America’s Allies
We’ve seen the images of the future of warfare with drone swarms.
Regardless of all the autonomy talk, real warfighters will be faced with new levels of complexity.
How much is too much?
How will we find the limit of cognitive overload?
How will we train it?
At Prisma, we believe that immersive, 6DOF domes provide a critical part of the answer.
Solution
Teaching an infantry team to fully understand a battlespace that includes 30 UxV’s + enemy drones in addition to their standard weapons and tactics requires exposure to an immersive dome-based facility.
Bridging the gap between ubiquitous, but incomplete standalone workstation training and expensive and infrequent field training, domes provide a way to immerse warfighters in a battlespace and see the full expanse from several different perspectives.
Such training has historically been very expensive, but the cost is coming down to the point that large scale simo training of whole squads is now feasible and affordable.
By leveraging private investment, Prisma Dynamics will build a prototype facility that will both train warfighters and help develop the small unit tactics of the next era of warfare. This prototype will then become a template that can be replicated across America and then our Allies’ training centers.
